Food stallholders new instructions

We have news from Camden Council that stallholders need to be aware of.

If you are to provide or sell food, Camden council says you need to:

State all ingredients of all food visibly.
Write a note with name and address clearly.
Show this on your table/ stall.

Further instructions as before check the website

REMINDER: come early – by 9.30 or no stall!

More on the largest street festival in Camden…

This year, at a time of threat from HS2 and property development, the voices of Somers Town are on the map – literally – in an artwork of locals’ views – quotes taken from the film ‘somerstown wishes’. Look out for these posters in Ossulston Street. Filming is also taking place on the day.

The ‘art trail’ continues with a pop up installation in the street – ‘Somerstown: a space for us’ – a historical then and now perspective on our area. Look out for that in Chalton Street near Albertini’s café.
The café is hosting a ‘history café’ and showing a documentary on the slum clearance at 2pm.

This summer’s festival has great entertainment with a funfair, stalls, arts, and live music – from indie, rock, blues, country punk to Bengali, with an appearance by ex-Libertines Alan Wass in Lipstick Melodies. And in this world cup year, there’s a football event for the youth – to get over the pain of England losing.

Children also have a chance to express their wishes in a graffiti workshop; the results will then form a mural on Ossulston Street.

Come along – it’s a real street festival!
